  1. I'm so sorry about your aunt, but I also inherited a ring that looks just like an engagement ring too! Love the idea of turning it into a custom necklace. Love your videos!!!

  2. no matter if you weren't satisfied with your footage… a Steph + Segundo vlog is always guaranteed to be AWESOME! Bonus doggo!

  3. I actually vlog at festivals weekly. Being dutch, I have to deal with rainy festivals sooo much. Though in the winter they are indoor here so πŸ™‚

  4. Are you going through Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles? That's where I got my baby from! They are an excellent organization. πŸ™‚

  5. I stopped going to festivals at the OC Observatory they always oversell and it gets so cramped, which makes me anxious. Its cool I know they're trying to get their money, but i'll never go back.

  6. I've cried at live shows 3 times in my life lol when I seen Erykah, Monica (she sung angel of mine & I just wept 😩) & Floetry. The festival was deff overcrowded but I'm glad you had fun!!!

  7. I FEEEEEEL YOU about Soulquarius. It was oversold for sure and I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to see ): I wish I bumped into you, but glad you enjoyed the festival regardless. Loved this vlog, Steph (:

P.S. Can Segundo be my best friend too?

  8. oh my god I met you at soulquarius during R. kelly and you're honestly so sweet and down to earth ❀️😭😭 it was so good meeting you thank you for being so humble and inspiring!

  9. You have the coolest friends!! Also omg that rain was just insane. I never ever wanna get out when it rains i'd rather much curl up in bed haha! and fooooddd damn the food looked so good. ALL OF IT!

  10. Aw I was at Soulquarius too! Pretty Ricky was my fav, just posted a vlog too. Honestly R. Kelly was just gross to me. Festivals just cause everything on my body to ache. The logistics I agree was just shit.

  11. You must see Lowdown Loretta Brown aka Erykah Badu when she is the headliner or on her own. It's a magical and truthful experience.

  12. gurl u need to spray rainX on your windshield so it's not so blurry!! it rolls the water into water droplets so it's easier to see!!!!!

  13. oh my god i had that problem to with the overcrowding at a show i went to in Fresno and i swear it was so to much. they legit oversold the GA sits. I completely get it

  14. Love you, girl, but I'm kinda getting sick of the politics shouting in my face in every corner of the net, and your videos are getting pretty darn heavy as of late. Totally cool, you do you, but I'm headed out. Peace.

  15. yess segundo giving the people what they want haha, you two are seriously hilarious together ahh just makes my day 😁

  16. Ahhhh, thanks for sharing clips from Soulquarius. ❀❀❀ I'm so bummed I found out about the festival day of. 😣😣😣

  17. It's really unfortunate that someone with such a well documented and publicized history of victimizing young women is still so celebrated. Being a good ally and a good activist and a good feminist sometimes means making sacrifices like not purchasing tickets to a show that gives a platform to a serial rapist. As someone with her own platform and as someone who has spoken about misogyny and feminism in the past I would hope that rather than seeing this concert as a potential sacrifice, you would see it as an opportunity to publicly state that you don't support R Kelly and won't purchase tickets to shows that financially support him. Any blow back that you'd get for denouncing R Kelly would be much less than the blowback his victims continue to deal with, and it would no doubt mean a lot to your many viewers who have experienced sexual assault in their lives.

I understand that we are all human and that we all make small, necessary concessions in the struggle, but this is beyond the realm of taking off the feminist hat for thirty minutes of self care while watching some questionable tv show. From my perspective, no concert or artist is worth a friend or peer looking at me and seeing someone who would support an abuser. The message that sends is "I only care about sexual assault or abuse when the right kind of rapist is being shamed, if he's a recording artist in a genre I like chances are I'll still support him financially despite the violence he leaves behind him."

I say all this from a place of love and in the interest of growth. We are all still learning, and hopefully you'll take seriously the reality that we live in: tons of artists and actors and directors are violent misogynists and rapists, and supporting some of them or one of them is still supporting a rapist first and foremost. It's important to me that we don't only demonize R Kelly or black men who rape; I could plug in a hundred names of famous, successful, talented people who have forfeited the opportunity to be supported by me because of their disregard for human life and bodily autonomy, and all of them are just as guilty as R Kelly and just as worthy of boycott. No art is worth the price of showing a survivor of sexual assault that their rapist can be successful despite the absolute horror and violence they perpetuate.

  18. Hey Steph, my windshield was just as bad, if not worse, than yours. Try cleaning it with Kaboom and some elbow grease to get rid of the filmy residue that seems to be on it. Your wipers may also need replacing if it's been a few years. Hope that helps with visibility.

  19. OH MY GOD were you looking into Pug Nation LA???? Lori is so nice and she's in charge of house checks! I almost adopted a pup from her but ended up finding a lil pug mix at the Pasadena Humane Society. His name's Russell πŸ™‚

  20. They shouldn't host festivals at that venue anymore, that's what happened at Beach Goth. It was over booked. too crowded
